Ryan Lee Mohn
March 11, 1987- February 7, 2004

Ryan Mohn was a well-known athlete at Steelton-Highspire High School.  But more than that, he was a son, a brother, and a friend to so many.

In January 2004, at age 16, Ryan's life came to a tragic end when he was involved in a car accident with two of his best friends on their way to the mall.  The loss of Ryan devastated the town of Steelton.  His family and friends have dedicated themselves to keeping Ryan's spirit alive.

The Ryan Lee Mohn Memorial Foundation was established to keep Ryan's memory alive and continue his legacy.  All proceeds from fund-raising activities are used to provide scholarships to graduating Steel-High seniors and make donations to charitable organizations in Ryan's name.

Ryan became an organ donor one month before his accident.  Because of his decision to say yes to organ donation, 6 people received life-saving transplants and the lives of more than a hundred others were enhanced through his tissue donations.  Visit www.donors1.org for information about organ donation.  Visit Ryan's guest book on Penn Live at:  http://www.legacy.com/guestbooks/pennlive/ryan-mohn-condolences/1916788?#sthash.10j7NVmL.dpbs
